The alarm sounded and I wiped my sleepy eyes to venture out on Bandon Beach in Oregon.
I soon realized that my eyes were no longer cloudy--rather the beach was socked in with fog and surreal atmosphere.
The sun slowly lifted higher to illuminate the seascape around me and reveal the clean pristine beaches as the tide retreated.
The sea gulls flew and only a few people ventured out to explore the surreal sea stacks.
The line of gulls fly to explore the sea just like me.
The faded distant sea stacks made for interesting shapes along the shoreline.
Can you guess which rock formation is called Face Rock?
I waited patiently for all the elements to line up in this dreamy scene.
The more I walked, the more I found.
Bandon Beach is surely one of a kind.
A couple walks along the Bandon Beach shoreline.
I enjoyed the reflections that the wet beaches created.
It was a fun challenge to capture a balanced composition and this may be my favorite out of them all.
The maze of sea stacks invites you in to just keep exploring. I gladly obliged.
Perhaps you'd like to explore them too?
