I focus on the landscape in front of me, looking at trees, birds, beaches, and anything that captivates my attention.

When I first began making artwork and images, I would get flustered when a human entered my shot, but as time went on, I realized that sometimes it's exactly what the scene might need.

Needless to say, I've learned to embrace these cinematic moments that really make the moment when someone steps into the frame.

Here are a few of my favorites that feature strangers with a great purpose.

Most do not see that there's a woman contemplating the scene in front of her.
I was as captivated by this event as this gentleman here. I later would learn that his presence is what really makes this picture.
Without question, this picture would not be the same if it weren't for the man gazing out to this vastness.
A man tends his horse while a perfect sunset forms behind them.
Sailboat in Bora Bora
A boat sails by in the distance while a son and mother share paradise together on the shore.
Swimming in Bora Bora
This is not a stranger. My wife Meaghan enjoyed a morning swim while I was scampering around taking pictures on the beach. I shouted to have her turn around and this was a definite favorite picture from the trip.
Boat and People Watch Sunset in Mexico
People were enjoying this sunset from every angle.
People Swimming with Sharks
The human element was a must in this one.
