It's easy to stare into the beauty of the sun as it rises in the morning and at night. As you can tell through my gallery, I'm a little obsessed with sunset pictures and sunset wall art. Each one is magical in its own way.
Well, this time, my family hit the road back home really early from Colorado near Ft. Collins and we caught this captivating sunrise that forced its light through the clouds to the mountain tops behind. Instead of looking at the road ahead, I glanced behind me and my eyes got real big.
To date, this is my biggest published panaromic shot, and this stitches 10 separate photos together with the help of Photoshop. The original file size is 220 inches by 64 inches, so let me know if you want this monster on your wall! Please excuse the cranking of your neck to look at this.
Maybe you're on a mobile device or laptop so you can flip it 90 degrees rather than your head. This was one of my very first photos of the Colorado mountains and hope that I will be able to take many more in the future.
