Two years ago, I embarked on a journey to Bora Bora to capture this image, and now I'm on to the next journey.
That is, I've decided to go through every fine detail to make sure this moment depicts the feeling I had when I was standing there.
The soft sand, silky smooth water, combined with the blazing sunrise giving just enough light to illuminate Mt. Otemanu and the friendly palm tree that witnessed this scene with me.
My new friends at Artisan HD helped me produce this print.
As they best describe the process,
This isn’t just any old HD (high-definition) paper you can run through your home inkjet printer. With this process, the image is burned into the emulsion layer of the paper itself. Not one drop of ink is laid over the substrate to produce the image.
Translation: It will look marvelous ;-)
I look forward to sharing the result after I cross the finish line. It is in sight.
The print is then encapsulated inside the highest-grade true-life acrylic.
