Hint: It's not Ghostbusters.

Ghostbusters are obsessed with finding ghosts.

I'm obsessed with finding amazing blank walls.

That is what happened at First Dakota National Bank in Sioux Falls.  While I was visiting one of my good friends there, I stopped in my tracks and saw this wonderful blank canvas.

After my dropped jaw was placed back to normal, my mind immediately started racing.  I carefully walked through this amazing new space with modern flair.  There were tons of cool artworks and it was my mission to create a perfect artwork for that stairwell.

This example displays a modern abstract that was located in one of the halls.

As I continued marveling at this spectacular building, I had envisioned an artwork that would fit perfectly on that wall.  I reached out to the designer, Shannon from Shannon Ness Interiors, and showed her the concept.

My mindset was to take all of those modern lines from the windows, ceiling, and stairwell, and create a soft, flowy, and delicate looking image to disrupt those lines.

In addition, I needed to tie this artwork in with the rest located throughout the building which meant a neutral-colored artwork finished with a black and silver edged frame.

After hanging the monstrosity with the help of yet another good friend, I stood back for my favorite part.

I live for blank walls.  Got one?  Call me.
