Please tell me you have a huge wall you can display this huge seascape wall artwork on.
Over the years, I've been fortunate to help clients that need really big art. This is my latest shot I'm extremely excited about.
This shot called ENDLESS was taken in Riviera Maya and consists of at least 8 images stitched together. On the tiny screen you’re looking at right now, it’s really hard to see the detail.
If it was blown up to be as big as it should be, you’d swear you’re standing right on the beach with that wave creeping up your toes.
This seascape was insanely difficult to stitch—Photoshop did some lifting, but that creeping wave was entirely manual. To you non-Photoshop folks, this means it was painful with maybe some swearing during the processing. The image size at full resolution (300DPI) is about 4 feet wide by 2 feet tall. You could print this on canvas (150DPI) at incredibly epic proportions without losing much in the detail. What really helped is the camera, a Nikon D800, my latest and greatest tool for my artwork, assisted me in capturing the wonderful pixels in amazing depth. Ok, now I'm probably just overhyping this.
Maybe it could look something like this perhaps? Feel that ocean breeze in your hair?
Speaking of detail, here's a tiny thumnbail so you can see the wave and beach detail a bit closer.
All this being said, I must confess I wish you weren't looking at these since this viewing presents 72DPI (as most online images are to increase website performance.)
So if you’ve got that wall, give me a call. [Hey, maybe that should be my tagline...]
