Phase 2 of Dental Essence is complete. Admittedly, it has been finished for quite some time but I finally got around to taking pictures and sharing some art with you.
As described in my previous description of this one-of-a-kind dental office in Sioux Falls, the primary idea was to help people forget what they were there for when they walked through the doors. By offering up a variety of visually stimulating artwork, they could get lost in different worlds.
I'm happy to say that this is exactly what happened-- it completely transformed a dental experience that is often associated with anxiety.

Step inside and encounter a plethora of visual sensations.
Art makes all the difference to enhance sterile environments.
The break room deserves a space where the hard work can be left behind and imagination can set in.
I'd consider this the crown jewel that is hidden on the back wall. It's a fun huge visual art treasure.
Here's a close-up of the gleaming metal artwork which emphasizes color variance and vibrance with super high definition to dazzle the eyes.
Each artwork is suspended on cables, contrasted with super dark textured wallpaper. It frames the artwork giving it yet another layer.
The long trail leads to a reassuring and peaceful fall artwork.
Look in the other direction and a playful setting makes you want to explore this underwater world.
I'd say this is the crowd favorite. This mixture of wood grain and painterly-like qualities make people pause.
This cascading artwork is natural down the back staircase.
This ultra minimalist artwork on canvas is quite a change-up compared to those artworks surrounding it.
