I am captivated by dramatic scenes of mountains, lakes, trees in autumn and all the other things nature presents to us on the lands we live on.

Perhaps I am more fascinated by the scenes that are on or just below the liquid surface--the creatures and formations that are built in the ocean waters below.

During this particular exploration of the Southern Caribbean, I couldn't resist the mesmerizing scenes as I ventured off the various boats.

Developing imagery that splits above and below the waterline is mighty challenging and perhaps that is why I am drawn to it so much.
