I took a drive to do an out-of-town shoot and I discovered the majestic McCory Gardens in Brookings, South Dakota.

Large gardens can be a paradise when it comes to photography, so I thought I’d give it a try.  I got my headphones on, and off I went, shooting hundreds of pictures.

The sun was slowly making its way to the horizon and the light was offering up some interesting scenes.

As I slowly made my way around McCory Gardens, I could tell that the fall season could potentially bring some spectacular pictures and when fall arrived, I was not disappointed.

The sun positioned itself perfectly for someone to sit down and take in the scene. I was too busy capturing it.

The sun lowered to the horizon and I attempted to capture some of the tiny elements of the garden.

The sun sprayed the leaves, creating this amazing glow that I had to try to capture.
